I think he did because of certain comments he'd made in the past.. for example once he said "you don't need to be attracted to a girl to have sex with her" which reminds me of comphet (and I'm pretty sure he said that before he & garam ever slept together, but I could be wrong). also he kept denying how attracted to garam he was a LOT especially in the beginning and again it just makes me think he was trying to subconsciously push down any of those feelings (also I feel like usually ppl who are homophobic at one point in their life and then later realize they're actually queer usually act overly homophobic like jaehyuk did in the beginning. like being very loud about it for no reason even when other people aren't even talking about it lmao. like overcompensating)
when I read this "you don't need to be attracted to a girl to have sex with her" in the manhwa I interpreted in the romantic way bc still make the sentence valid even more to str8 guys
this makes sense if u watch japanese str8 porn for gay audience (kinda a subgenre there, mostly of the models in the videos aren't attractive and still the sexual intercourse happens

so we know by now that yoon jaehyuk had major internalized homophobia at the start of the story. what if his mom (who is clearly the one who runs things in his family) is homophobic and what if when garam & jaehyuk start dating and jaehyuk goes to tell her she says some shit and garam is like "omg I should've known" thinking jaehyuk is gonna run away cause of it (cause yk his trauma with that one guy or whatever) but then jaehyuk instead stands up for him & garam and proves, again, that he's whipped for garam <3
