Both cheated and that’s not ok, but the difference between the two of them and their actions are so so different.
On one hand you have one who cheated (and still does), doesn’t feel guilty at all, cares more about the person who’s cheating with than the bf, mistreats, neglects and ignores his bf, victimises himself and thinks he is not doing anything wrong towards the bf and believes that it’s ok as far as the bf doesn’t find out, and even lies to the person he is cheating with. And can’t even confirm if they can go to that trip with the bf, because he is waiting to see if his side chick is free so he can spend time with him instead.
And on the other hand you have the other who cheated, but feels guilty about it, knows he did something wrong, has been mistreated, ignored and neglected by his bf out of the blue for quite some time already, and postpones a trip by a day to go out with the guy he cheated with, who at least is a person who treats him right!
So, nope, not the same energy.

The first part of my comment is literally saying they both cheated and it’s not ok.
I am not justifying cheating, I am just saying the way they did it and the way they acted, their thought process, and how they are treating the other and treat the relationship in general is completely different, so I can’t give them the same energy.
Cheating is never ok! But it’s a difference when you do it because you are neglected, mistreated, ignored and ghosted by your bf, then doing it just because you feel attracted to another person. And it’s a different between feeling guilty about it and not giving a shit about the bf, thinking it’s fine to continue if he doesn’t find out.
