No. His parents relationship was already crumbling even before he left the world. When he suddenly left the world, they were looking for him but couldn't find it. They've accepted the fact that he disappear (died probably) and they moved on with their life. They didn't forget about him but it's hinted that the parents were very broken when he disappeared but life must move on. They divorced and lead their own life afterwards.
