To be honest, even if I tried I don't think I remember much anything in the age of 10 (￣∇￣").
Well, in this story there's maybe a cause of it, might be how long he stays in the battlefield or something.

You'd remember if it was something significant. When I was around 10 (maybe 9?), I was the flower girl in my uncle's wedding, I remember some of my thoughts from back then, some scenes from the wedding (like how my sis, younger by 5 years, was also a flower girl but cried so much that my parents took her with them.)
I swallowed a coin during the ceremony, I was playing with it because I was bored, and almost choked on it ╮(￣▽￣)╭ my parents found out because it got stuck in my throat and I kept drinking water to remove it, and the next thing I remember is waking up in a hospital later that night. I even remember the morning after, because other patients got breakfast and I didn't because my parents didn't pay for it.
It's been nearly 20 years but the memory stuck with me.
So how did our cute Carl forget her????
