But yeah, i also had the same thought as you. Why not add the yaoi tag when it's clearly yaoi but just with buff men? I didnt think much of it though... maybe they just forgot to tag it lol
Yaoi is aimed at women, bara is more for gay men. Google the definition. It's a genre of its own.

Bara is written by gay men for a gay male audience while yaoi is (most commonly) written by heterosexual women for a heterosexual female audience
Bara is not a sub genre of yaoi because it does not have the same target audience
