glad

i’m glad that the story is progressing now. let’s make one thing clear though: all three of them are flawed.

in this latest chapter it became clearer than ever that all yuki wants is to be loved and accepted as who he is (a gay man) and he does not want to be with misaki because he doesn’t want to lie to himself anymore. he made the terrible mistake of hiding it and cheating on her, that’s why he has to face the consequences.

then, on the other side, misaki is idealizing a relationship that no longer is and that’s why she finds it hard to let go. she thinks she can hold yuki back as long as his sexual needs are met but that’s not everything. she’s failing to understand him and understand the fact that the damage is already done and there’s no turning back.

also, ina saying he can love multiple people seems bs to me, he’s been hyper fixated on misaki ever since his high school days. he supposedly loves yuki but all he can think about is whether misaki will give him a chance….. this could be a poor characterization from the author’s part (as in, she just scrapped the idea) or it could be intentional, since ina could only be using yuki to approach misaki and break their bond.

i don’t know what the author’s intentions are, i could think about a couple of ideas, but don’t know for sure.
