Not necessarily. They're assigned to a partner by only a year. So it doesn't really mean that they are assigned to a partner until they die.
And Vince was supposed to die but Aryka changed his fate. But that doesn't mean that if they get paired up again, Vince will also die.
But I think if Aryka wasn't paired up with Vince. Vince's mom must be holding a funeral now.
