Alexis calculated right, the answer is 60 (5*4*3=60) but it can also be different since it did not say there will be no repetitions, we can choose out of the 5 given numbers: 1,3,5,7,9 and there was already a hint in the word problem which is 'three digit numbers' so to make it easy, 5*5*5= 125

But if you use the NCr calculation to get the possible samples then you'll get= 10

N!/(N-n)!n! - > 5!/(5-3)!3!

I wonder what happens if they answer this instead, will it be wrong or not

    The five digits are given as five separate cards (1 card for each digit), thus there would be no repeats
