For me at least, I hate Diana more because she is very selfish and arrogant, Helios fucked up and he knows he fucked up, I think he could even have a redemption eventually, but Diana thinks she is untouchable and looks like she wants Kael to stay obsessed with her, even tho she is already married.
But yes, I do agree that both of them are in the wrong, Helios just seems more redeemable.

Yupp true.. I actually kinda still hate Helios a tad bit because he is sooo dependent on Kael to clean up his mess..He is redeemable in a sense that he realize that the emperor won't last long, he is married, he big joy now need to take on responsibility as royal seriously, falling for his friend's wife now but nono he stole enough from Kael so he should dismiss this thoughts.. That's good thinking and growth there.. I'll admit.. And although an empire are not run by the royals alone and that is why there is nobles in the court too..Helios still can't really get away from being over dependent on Kael (because people look up to Kael, reliable, things like that) to the point that it messes with Kael's personal relationship (Hess) and honour (when Helios keep quiet when Diana accuse Kael as cruel and his action was wrong when Kael get rid of the criminal when everyone overcomplicate things because the criminal is quite high in the noble status-Helios afraid of losing support from noble who are close to the criminal)


So i comparison to Diana.. That was why Helios is better..

I agree with the both of you it's just I can see that this story is going towards Helios being the better person in the future, I just feel that if one is going to be punished the other should be. But yes I can see the character development going on.
