I agree, like she saw a premonition or whatever but pryde was just a child she didn't turn into that person yet, but her ignoring pryde and pouring all her attention and love to one child made her Into that person

No matter what the mothers reason.. I still can't forgive her.. even if you saw Pride as a horrible ruler in your precognition.. it doesn't justify the way you treat her.. ignoring her and not doing something is just making it much worse... She is a horrible mother no matter her justification or the authors back story...
