I think The reason why she thinks he'll come Back is because he pretended to love and care about her when nobody else did. But I can understand were you're coming from.
Coz she has been manipulated into thinking the fake husband is the only person in the world who accepted her with her (fake) mental disorder and (fake) insanity. She is mentally depending to her fake husband that she blocked the possibility of her fake husband not coming back. This all psychological shits
I dont know how to feel about this... Especially her as the female lead. Whats up with her thinking hes probably coming back even though its been 5 years like girl at this point divorce him or leave like hes not even sending letters what makes you think hes coming back...
