I think I would object this. Sihyeon was the one who drove them away. He closed himself away from them to the point that Chan have to sleep in the couch so he would not trigger sihyeon. They wanted to do everything yet they cannot because sihyeon can't even let them get close to them. He was not even in the dorm most of the time.

true… also along the manhwa, once in a while i think there were instances that they kinda regretted not pushing through and thought something along the lines of “if only we tried harder”. so i guess they do feel partially responsible but honestly in this kind of situation, different people have different ways of dealing and reacting to help offered by others, just because rajun was willing to receive help and able to get better, doesn’t it’d be the same for OG sihyeon. at the end of the day, they’re not professionals in handling people with mental health issues so maybe they’re just afraid things might go wrong if they tried to help more than OG sihyeon let them
Yeah same!! Like I have seen people who have opposite effect after receiving help. Please OG Sihyeon case was so damn complicated. Like He didn't want Anyone to touch him. And honestly I cannot blame him. Because after going that, who wants themselves to be touched when you are betrayed by someone you love?
He approached them when they were in trouble and tried to break their defense. They did not. He was a great friend. They were not.
But were their case was like sihyeon? No. Sihyeon broke their defense because THEY allowed it. Meanwhile OG sihyeon was damaged beyond our understanding. You need to understand this. He was SA most of time. And even without knowing who is doing what to him. Tell me, how are gonna talk to a person who don't even want to be in the same place as you? How will you talk to a person who seem to have a panic attack if even accidentally touch them. No of them are fault. It was the situation which made the whole thing more worse.
But when Sihyeon needed help, y'all weren't there.
