    hes not forced lmao. he literally begged the man to stay there. that is his entire plan. he is willingly there because of his revenge. the governor even offered to let him go multiple times and he probably still would if yeonjo genuinely wanted to lol. but when you have to act like you're someones lover amd having consensual sex probably rubs off on you thats why he is getting the way he is lol

    Stockholm syndrome is basically self gaslighting.
    "He's bad, but no, he did XYZ for me, so he cares. I know he cares. *gets beat up* It's cause he loves me."
    It's also called fawning.

    A type of trauma response (fight, flight, freeze, faint, fawn, and fornicate), in which you become submissive and obedient to your abuser.

    But our boy here is still self-aware and still making plans to take revenge.
    He's just pretending to be so docile in hopes of relaxed suspicion.

    Having said that, people can slowly forgive, even if they can't forget.
