It's really simple.
It's a fictional story set in a fictional world.
But I'm sure it's hard for you to separate fiction from reality like some of the people here.
If you don't like it, don't read it.
If you like some of the things in there, ie yiyi, rourou and grandpa he and so on, just focus on them instead of the parts you don't like.

I personally don't like the side couple either because the doctor guy almost seems like a groomer since he basically raised the singer dude but I just gloss over their entire plot because my priority is the he-feng family and their shenanigans.

It doesn't per se but some people equate living together from birth as incest so I dunno..
I just feel a little iffy since it feels like doctor dude almost groomed the idol guy.. but still, in the end it's just a story and I love love them all..
