In the past life she had no one besides him so she didn’t understand what being loved meant and how you should be treated in a partnership. But now she has learned this through constant support from her family, she realizes the way he treated her was not acceptable. I think it’s quite an honest reaction to all the pent up frustration
Her being that hostile to him just doesn't make sense i would get her loosing feelings but hating him suddenly and thinking he offended her mother as if she didn't know him well and his personality i feel like things are rushed idk hoe to explain it
