Hey, I also love these!!! You know, when the obsessive character gets validated not by the readers but by their own partners!!! I just love them when they are both crazy about each other. When it’s only one and not the other, that’s when questions of toxicity pop up and most of the time, I as a reader excuse them for their fictitious beautiful faces, sometimes I don’t, but also mostly because their partners are kinda stupid and drive them to excessive possessiveness, well y’know (?) and I just end up hating the stupid one more than the crazy one. Hahahaha

I only have BL though. I think I’ve across BG but I just forgot, and these titles, I remember ‘cause I just recently created a list mostly for the first two.

So, I wonder if you’re up for this… it’s the manhua adaptation to a BG novel I quite liked. Although, as you can see from the title, it might not be for everyone.

The main leads are not blood-related siblings and both know about this from the very beginning. The FL was transmigrated so the girl who lived as siblings with the ML has already been replaced, but since she had transmigrated she accepted and really thought of the ML as her real brother. On the ML side, though, he knew that FL was not his sister but he didn’t know she knew too, so at first he raised her (he was the head of the family already since all other male elders were already dead) as his real sister but along the way, he fell in love with her.

FL in her original world was half of a pair of male and female twins who had a special connection to each other as twins mythically always do (like she would feel it if her brother was hurt and her brother could sense her vitality too). She had a weak body (couldn’t walk, had weak lungs, and just weak everywhere else really) but a healthy heart while her brother had a relatively healthier body but a weak heart. When her brother had a heart attack and collapsed, their mother begged her to donate her heart to him as her brother was the head of the family and was needed at the company. She agreed reluctantly since her brother was her most important person and vice versa and while she held a grudge against their mother and everyone else, she was confident that her brother would avenge her once he wakes up.

Her twin brother upon waking up, immediately felt that she was already gone. Their family members even cremated her body since they were afraid he would find some otherworldly method to give her heart back and revive her - that’s how much the twins loved each other and everyone else knew about it but they deemed the brother as essential for the family while the sister was just a necessary sacrifice. The brother then gathered her ashes, and asked all the elder monks with considerable cultivation from a certain buddhist temple to give her the best in her next life in exchange for a valuable buddhist relic. The elder monks agreed but the younger head monk of the temple was selfish and didn’t want his elders to die just to provide for the next life of a single soul so he messed up the ritual and instead of sending her to one of the more prosperous 3000 larger worlds, he had her sent to a smaller world, a book she had once read with a character of the same name. Only later did he realize that he did something bad since the character was not actually the main character of the story who would live a good life but was just a cannon fodder with a bad fate and disabled legs. He instead had to add some spirit stones to the lotus symbolizing her fate just to hold it up,, so with that and the elder monks’ blessings, she became favored by luck even though her legs were still disabled and her life circumstances were not very ideal. That’s how she transmigrated into a book with a plot that she fortunately already knew instead of getting a fresh start in a different world.

When she transmigrated, she instantly felt the connection she had with her twin brother with the ML so she clung to him obsessively and treated him as her brother because she felt that he was her only tether to life. The ML as the head of the family was very responsible and he could not relax much but the FL provided a place of solace for him as he could feel her genuine care for him so he resolved to pay it back and basically just let his life revolve around her.
