I'd say it's a mix of both the real bdsm world and omegaverse. In those type of universe people have either a dominant or a submissive trait, but just like in omegaverse it's an urge that needs to be taken care of by doing regular plays (sexual or not) w the dom giving commands. If the parties don't take part in plays regularly it can become harmful to them hence the suppressant to make the urge grow weaker. The type of play can go from vanilla to hard-core so usually the dom and sub would match based on their needs.

No no no. This one makes no sense. They CANNOT be together. It'scalready weird when only one of the guys is violent and they still end up together but here it's d/s. That's not POSSIBLE.
