The issue isn't her not noticing the ML, the issue is her not noticing how uninterested the fox guy is in her. To be fair, it's not a major issue but if we need to pick one issue about this story it would be that. Sure, they way that once you fall in love you ignore some obvious things, but she can't be already in love after talking to him briefly twice. That would be too shallow and uninteresting. Crush, sure that can happen at first sight but love? Give me a break. I hope that the author isn't trying to portray her in love already.
I think she’s noticed that he’s not interested in her though? That’s why she kept trying to interact with him cause she knows they’re not close enough for him to take interest and why she was sadden by the fact he was pairing her with dragon guy. I don’t think it’s wrong for her to think it’s worth a try while still not knowing much about fox guy. Hence the crush

That’s why she’s not noticing dragon ML cause she doesn’t even consider him as potencial love interest since she only has eyes for the fox. Plus because she doesn’t see fox guy that often she’s able to create this lovely image of him cause she doesn’t know any better hence ‘falling’ deeper in the crush
