tbh I would say he does bc he then take medicine or drugs to "help" him since he hallucinate about how Kwon Cheong-rim will abandoned him and since mini mart love kwon Cheong-rim he get worried and nervous and start taking pills.

omg it this scene after Kwon Cheong-rim answered the phone he ran to Kim Sung-kyung's or mini mart and when he arrived, he stayed with mini mart and took care of him.
btw mini mart start using drugs and his hallucinations start getting worse which is why he often use his notebook to write down his thought and what to do because without it he will get worse.
