thank you for explaining it further, just curious, how long did tingwei gone in "normal" world? it fells like quite some time in there, I remember it's mostly like 1-2 day since he lost in previous chapter, but seme is down so bad for it, it's like his strong fortress started to crumbled the moment tingwei gone （￣へ￣）
I'm not quite sure about the phasing in Lian Jue's world, but Wei-wei's probably been there at most for 10 or less months. He was 8mons into pregnancy when he transcends back to his original world.
But it was mentioned that two years had passed since Wei-weiwas gone from his original world.
Maybe 1 is to 2 ratio.
ahhhh I seee, that's why lianjue is changed that much, I was thinking maybe he's gone at most 3 months or so but seeing the seme is so mellow unlike his previous behaviour, it can't be that short of time, but he still has the luck of meeting with tingwei again, both uke and seme really need each other to heal themselves T_____T

Chapter 99-110, This parts was a lot more heartfelt in the novel. TT specially the reason why tingwei's parents had fallen apart while he was gone. In the novel, the only one keeping Wei-wei's family intact was him. His father's only focus in life was his research. He doesn't even know the birthday of his wife and son, nor does he remember his wife's favorite flower. Tingwei's mother had always put herself behind her husband and son's needs. Even if she didn't like something she'd keep it in because she wanted to be a good mom and wife. When tingwei disappeared, the only glue that kept their family intact also disappeared and everything went crumbling down. Wei-wei's mother blamed her husband for Wei-wei's accident and disappearance. Because it's the father that insisted on the blind date even tho both Wei-wei's mother and Wei-wei himself object to it the first time he brought it up. Tingwei's father has always been the violent type so sheet went down hill after his parents fought for the last time.
If I remember correctly, they fought because tingwei's father couldn't be bothered to look for Wei-wei anymore. Even assuming that Wei-wei only ran away because he hated the blind date and was being unfilial. He then also cut of Wei-wei's bank accounts and kinda said in the heat of the moment that it's best for them all if tingwei's actually dead, which is why the mother reached her limit and raised her voice and slapped the husband or something. The threw hands with each other and just cut it all off.
The time when tingwei saw his mother back in his original world his mother has yet to move on and is just slowly learning to live a life without tingwei in it, as the guy who gave her flower narrates to tingwei when he was helping tingwei out.
Wei-wei was aware that his parents didn't actually love each other and was just in the marriage because they happen to be a fated pair. He's also sorry that his mom has to give up her career, life and happiness just so she could support his son, it's why shen tingwei didn't call out for her and decided he didn't have a place in that world anymore. He wanted his mom to find her life back and he also wanted to be with Lian Jue more than to stay in his original world.
