I forgot the name but those ancient people that were being called a goddess possessed Yvonne's body and used it to get close to the Duke family and royal family to take over and destroy the empire. Yvonne technically died the day she had disappeared. That's why in the recent chapter, Penelope said her body was icy cold like the dead.
