Not them glossing over the fact that this reincarnated emperor was sleeping with different women and KILLING them (strangling/stabbing/etc.) RIGHT before meeting the uke. I understand that it's meant to reflect his cruel traits from his past lives, but given the fact that he's supposed to drastically change from a sadistic/abusive lover/murderer to whatever he is now at the end of the story, the random killings in the beginning seems so unnecessarily sociopathic to me.
