I think if you go for the very well drawn black-white mangas you can overcome it bc these mangas you mention are on the older sides and there are cleaner black-white mangas for example ore no kirai no senpai i think you have a better chance at reading it
I agree with the comment above. Either go for the newer clean artstyle or someone that has a more unique style. Even just finding ones with stories you connect with more in one way or another. If you let me know what kind of plotlines you like I can recommend some.

GUYS! I'm in a pinch— ever since I was a young girl I have always adored reading yaoi mangas, I breathed and lived Ten Count and other countless yaoi mangas that I have now forgotten. But now that BL manhwas are getting more popular, I have gotten used to the colors and artstyle and for the LOVE OF GOD i cannot seem to stand reading mangas now (i cant get past ch 2 ).
