Oh, I just found it too frustrating and don't want to make myself suffer. From the spoiler comments it seems like it's just another "I left for your sake but of course your opinion doesn't matter" plot. I'm just fed up with that kind of plot, for me it's selfishness, not love, because it's just easier to leave thinking it's for their beloved's sake than making an effort to be a better person so they can be happy together someday.

Well, it's my right whether to continue reading or not, I didn't harm anyone by stopping. Not like it matters for the author either, since they don't get any profit from me reading here. I just favor my own feelings and sanity over some 2D characters who won't even feel bad for me nor try to sympathize with me while I try to do so for them. Life is hard enough, dear.

No you're right that I'm wrong, but it seems like it would be even more annoying and exhausting to read than my prediction so still bye. I mean, it's been 13+ chapters without any character development from Kojima and I'm just tired of him mistreating Daimon. Maybe it'd get better later but I just don't want to try to understand him and sympathize with him anymore. At this point, continuing is pointless because I won't be able to enjoy reading it anymore and uselessly got stressed instead. What I like about reading is how the characters and the story move me, and this story and Kojima just stop doing that to me. It's a pity, since I love vol.1 so much, vol. 2 not really but I kept on hoping, but it got worse at vol. 3 so I give up. Feels like they're just going in circle with the same problem and conclusion over and over again the whole 3 volume. Doesn't mean it's bad, just not my taste.

I feel you. Fiction is supposed to be enjoyable, not stressful.
Whether these characters repeating the same patterns stress you out because the solution seems blatantly obvious (but they keep missing the mark) OR it's stressful because you're tired of experiencing similar struggles yourself (in real life) and consume fiction as a means of escaping those types of frustrations... it'd make sense either way to dump it because it's not fulfilling your needs.
My work and home lives have both been overtaxing lately, so when I read manga, it's gotta give me a break from all the mental anguish while also stimulating me, intellectually.
We only get to keep so much time and/or energy for ourselves these days. No one should have to consume unenjoyable content in their downtime.
Dropped this the moment Kojima left and Daimon is engaged. I give up.
