i’m on chapter 30+ and i dont like the story but the art is so good such a waste hoever ...

I think majority of the people who are rooting for or continuing the manhua has already read the novel. But if the plot is not your taste, why force yourself? Reading should be escapism, not something you should force yourself into. U should read what you enjoy and drop what you don’t.

Moreover, the manhua in China has to go through a lot of censorship, so sometimes it doesn’t do justice for the characters psychology like novel does. But I will answer so you can decide whether you will read or not. This novel belong to one of the famous novels 188 Boy Gp series (from Shui Qian Cheng). Me myself is here because this is one of my favorite novels in 188 series and I just wanna look at the adaptation. I’ve read this one countless time as it’s climatic and thrilling in the Middle (something sinister is happening but MC doesn’t know it and readers does). Also 188 novels are heavy in angst and the main point is the scummy Tops. Well it’s like if Korean Manhwa has Jinx, China has 188, lol (but they’re novels so more well-written). All of the tops in the novel are scummy in their own crazy way. Some novels also connect to one another. 6 novels out of 11 are adapted to manhua, Drunk in Love, My Beloved fool, Tit for tat, Sissy, Alpha Predator. So yeah these novels are famous for their wife-chasing crematorium plot and that’s satisfying to read. So if you are not comfortable with this kind of plot which foreshadows toxic relationships or you don’t enjoy angst aka dog blood plot, I think u can skip for your own sake. As this manhua while being im censored will surely include some dark topics like non-con and the novel has incest (non-con) which might not be for everyone

Plus, it’s not nice to say the art has gone wasted just because you don’t like the plot?? I waited for 188 to pass censorship for manhua adaptation for like 6 years and this novel is written in 2013. And probably 188 fd in China well go into riot, if the most famous novel in series adaptation come out with the art style they don’t like. Yeah, Winner takes all manhua artist was removed by Kuaikan (official website) and went to hiatus cuz fans don’t like the art. And this manhua while English speaking part of the world doesn’t enjoy and complains, the manhua is top 20 most read in paid official website and app so….well if art is not pretty or good enough they would cancel them and replace the artist.
