Idk

Half way through I was sure I was going to rate this 5 stars. The transition of one relationship to another seemed reasonable and the romance was evenly paced, I'd say. Then the angst came. Not so much out of left field since the author did hint towards it. I understand the reaction of both characters considering none of them have received any kind of therapy for their traumatic experiences, their reactions were right within their unhealthy reasoning.

What left me so unsatisfied was that the reunion was not fleshed out like the rest of the story. It was rushed yet extended (?), just weirdly unsatisfactory. I can't put my finger on what exactly I would've wished would happen, but I just know this wasn't it. Did the author burn out in the end and just wrapped it up this way? Idk what to rate this, I just probably won't （￣へ￣）
