I'm being delulu while I read this, I'm making a scenarios where Diabel in the first life just got tired from watching, he didn't say anything cus he's afraid she'll hate him. After the MC sacrifice herself for him (1st life) he was so angry that he couldn't do anything, then he no longer care if she hate him as long as she can escaped and live, decided to reveal himself in the last moment. So now 2ndlife even if he know she will be afraid of him atleast he could be at use.
