Athy was never an adult; she was like 14 to 16 when they started to have a more than just friends relationship. Also, the black-haired dude never initiated something. He helped the blonde-haired boy, and then the blonde-haired boy fell in love, and the black-haired dude tried to scare the blonde-haired boy away.
