Yeon Oh is strong, he chose himself, a MC who loves himself more than he loves the ML, it's rare. Love the author wrote this, it's more realistic than if he just jumped right back into Jaehyuk's arms and they lived happily ever after.
It must have hurt a lot which is why I admire Yeonoh. He truly loves Jaehyuk and past him would have probably been over the moon to hear those words, but his trust in him has completely shattered.
And yess huge props to the author. The way they play around with colors in their storytelling is just beautiful? You can tell what emotions they‘re trying to convey just by paying attention to the colors. The warm colors when they went on their agreed ’dates’, Jaehyuk‘s face being illuminated in blue light after looking at yeonoh‘s banner etc. ;; I want to reread it just to see what I missed
I know the parting scene is sad but to me it was bittersweet too? Its showcased yeonoh‘s growth so well. From letting people use him to choosing himself and his own happiness. He called jaehyuk someone who‘s too far away to have but after the timeskip it‘s Jaehyuk who‘s looking up at a poster of Yeonoh ╥.╥
