There are wayy too many plot holes in this one like - how does she manage to get away with omission? how did she not lose her memory? Lee myunghee probably isn't even dead, just in a different country or something, why was she suddenly obsessed with lin hwa again cause it got resolved in the 1st book so it lowkey feels like the author just wanted to end the story and figured why not have her be the motive and also introduce the 1st book to new readers who haven't read it/to remind readers of the existence of the 1st book, like 2 birds with one stone, etc.
