    i mean, its kind of useless to give such a big reaction to something so common and normalized because you cant escape the step siblings trope, it just keeps getting worser and worser

    I'm not going to fight the "adopted = not incest" trope, but if I see someone comment it of course I'm going to educate. It's reasonable to defend and explain something that is personal if people always spread misinformation about it.
    I don't see why my reaction has to be something big or small. It just feels like you're saying "but it's so normalized so why do you care, why don't you protest about it if you care so much". I'm not cursing you out or anything, I just want people to understand saying "adoptee x sibling= ok" is not acceptable.
