As much as we’re left with a cliffhanger, the misunderstanding wasn’t as frustrating for me since the reason isn’t ‘petty’ (I’ve read enough bl with that troupe it drained me) Haru’s dealing with some serious inferiority complex but isn’t ready to face it yet when asked. Hence, being avoidant and it leading the miscommunication. Also, Aki confessing straight up and Haru not getting it relatable. This is a common thing with queer ppl? I had a close friend straight up saying ‘i like you’ but I just thought she was joking bc she’s usually the flirty type and I couldn’t tell the difference lol. So haru being so oblivious is not that unrealistic
