They're just too used to the Rich ML x Poor Endebted MC and are incapable to appreciate a more fleshed out and human ML like Hyeonjin.
There are already tons of MLs Cheabols, masters and gansters in other Yaois, I'm honestly overdosed with this type of Seme. Really, I don't understand these readers' reasoning. Do they enjoy eatingt the same meal over and over again in every Yaoi? Aren't they tired of these Huge Dicks bastard who seem to be made of the same mold, same costume?
Mujin is very like the usual ML we see in other BL (cold, rich, has power...), but since MC has changed his interactions with Hyeonjin, Mujin now has no place in the new dynamics that form Jaewoo and Hyeonjin. Plus, this Shonen Ai is family-oriented and focused on another way to solve the problems of Hyeonjin (debts).
The relationship Hyeonjin has with Jaewoo is touching and depicts true love between two persons, something so rare in BL.
Totally agree. I actually love this story so far because Mujin isn't the main ML, and Jeawoo shows absolutely no interest in him because like, seriously, why would he? And honestly I kinda hopes he leaves the story entirely but it's fine as long as he's not end game. I got bored of the same ML we see in like every BL manhwa. Like seriously, its the same character every single time. They all even look the same! Why are they so popular they're so boring. I want something fresh like Hyeonjin
I can only guess a reason as to why they like so much this kind of trope (Rich x Poor) with a domeneering ML, that's probably because these stories are the Harlequin but version gay and modern. These men with the same profil practically, same hair style, black costume and dick behavior... represent the male Alpha of their phantasms.
They must be very rich, never express their feelings and expressionless, cold and mysterious, and above all abusive and manwhore (〜￣△￣)〜
It's understandable that female audience like that type of man, and to have some is fine, but the problem is that in K Yaois 2 out of 3 ML are like that.
TBH, I know that orginally in the novel it was Mujin x Hyeonjin, but I seriously don't know how it was possible for them to get together, seeing their both personalities... To me, Hyeonjin has the personality of a Seme. For my part, I have no problem with Mujin being here since yes, he's not the end game. The other guy is more problematic.
I like the twist brought by MC in the novel, I love to see the warm family they form and the meals they share. Truly, I love this story dearly.

Why do people call Hyeonjin pathetic because he's depressed while Mujin thinks flaunting money and power (and abuse) over a very not willing Jeawoo is going to make him fall in love with him. Seems more pathetic to me
