Probably as a defense mechanism to protect himself. He knows and has the ability to see them but he chooses to pretend that he doesn't see them so they don't hurt him or get attached, but it's not working anymore it seems

Lol yeah it didn't really work then either. Ghosts seems to really like him, as we can see w both the red and yellowed eyed ghosts. Not a fan of the red eyed one but I think he might start to acknowledge the yellow eyed ghost that's been w him since the beginning. Their relationship has improved and gotten closer somewhat. I think he's the ML and love interest
