I don't think anyone has addressed this but..... Anya 's cousin who is known for being a genius, isn't very smart, she assumed Alex is Uncle Nathan's child based off one single picture. I mean if she didn't misunderstand the situation, Alex's real father wouldn't have died, his mother wouldn't have gone missing and he wouldn't have to suffer through his illnesses. ( HE LEGIT HAS A SLIPT EVIL PERSONALITY AND IS ABOUT TO DIE).
Also I bet anyone who reads this is going to say she was only trying to save her beloved cousin and say she made a mistake, she is only a child!!
One: Just because you try to save her from the emotional hurt at the certain time period doesn't mean she isn't going to experience something like that later. Also would you rather know that you have a half brother or have your loved person make out with your relative you love very much.
Two: Even if she is young she is still very smart and is a manipulative person, who planned the destruction of a family.
Lastly if she loved Anya so much why did she cut ties with her??? just asking
