my memories of last seasons are a bit hazy, but under the assumption that geumsun kept his past memories--
i think that he'd recognize him immediately, not only does 704 look and sound exactly the same as yoonwi but he also has the matching scar on his eye, which would make it obvious. I'm guessing he treated 704 distantly because he doesnt want 704 to remember their past, and would rather shoulder that truth by himself considering how painful it is.

also question, did geumsun know from the start that 704 was the human he liked? but treated hm differently because since his memories were erased he was technically like a "new person"?? or did he just not know altogether as set it aside as "oh he just looks like him."
