I did too and I think they dote on her enough that it might take time, but they would respect her decision. Instead I wonder if the mom misunderstood and thinks she wants the throne. Also her decision to meet with all the daughters of heirs was a dumb decision. I get her intentions, but everyone else including her brother will see as her trying to gain supporters for herself.
Ngl when she talked to her mom at the boat I honestly thought she was gonna tell her and her father that she's not going to fight for the throne.. and then it just kept dragging on.. so dumb.
