oh also there's this one chapter when colton slowly took time to let alex be comfortable with him and accept him as his owner ( alex is a rescue dog with trauma and possibly trust issue hence the reason why he always got returned after one week bc he was raised in dogfight ring (idk what to call it) ). that shows that he wanted to let jinwoo know that he's not someone that will leave him over some minor things ( jinwoo having insecurities and such ) but instead he will be by his side and let jinwoo heal his past wounds slowly together with him ) he also wanted to be someone that jinwoo can trust

You are absolutely right, as jinwoo never really received any of those so he just needs reassurance and affirmation from Colton so he can feel assured then he knows that Colton wants him. He’s hurt and blames himself for what he did with his ex hence him asking Colton to release his pheromones so he can feel the pain, even though the ex used him. This manhwa is honestly such a good story ^-^ my weekly Sunday read will not be same when it finishes
