I kinda understand them though considering they live most of their lives without their biological parents/father around. It isn't easy to just accept them after so many years of no interaction. So, it is understandable if they decide to not give them all the happy lovey dovey family reunion like most people expected a child to do to their own parents.

It doesn't have to be happy lovey dovey reunion, but if I were them, I would've felt relieved to know that I've never been abandoned. It might've felt awkward and I might not make any effort to get close to them, but I would appreciate their effort to mend our relationship. But Gio just seems like he couldn't care less about anything except for Felix, while Felix just blatantly push his father away. They don't even invite Felix's father to their wedding. I think that part is too much.

That's just you though, not everyone is "kind" and should be "understanding" to everyone or every reason. It might not be their parents entire fault they were separated for a long time but their decision is the cause why they got separated. Gio's parents letting his grandma do all those hocus pocus things and Felix's father of having to be separated with his mom. Let's also not forget that Felix is already uncomfortable to know who his father is, his father also keeps on showing his defiance of their relationship so it is normal if they decide to not invite him on their wedding. It's not too much their action is justified. It is also shown like you said Gio doesn't really show that he cares to anyone other than Felix which is normal for some people. Try to change your mindset that every child should always accept their long lost parents with open arms. I mean, they both already accepted their parents their own way but not too much of lovey dovey family. Even Gio's brother also act a bit estranged or not energetically to his fam coz that's just his way of acknowledging them. Lol I find it hilarious of how you suggesting your expectation of how children should act to their parents no matter the circumstances.

Felix's father kept showing defiance? Maybe I forgot some things, but I remembered his father helped saving him at the final showdown with that asshole who was obsessed with Felix. He was just watching the situation before because he still wasn't sure before if Felix was really his son. He also made Felix work at his company because he wanted to be close to him, but he was never overbearing like inviting him to eat or something like that because he knew Felix was uncomfortable with him. He was only against Felix"s relationship with Gio, but it was only for a really short while and he didnxt really do anything. And about the decision, we don't know what happened when their parents broke up, at least I don't remember it being mentioned, but if it's another memory I've missed, forgive me. But if I'm right, of course it's possible that his father left his mother, but it's also possible that they broke up mutually or his mother was the one who left him. And it was his mother who decided not to tell him. Anyway, I'm not saying whether what they did are right or wrong. I'm not saying what they or any other child should do, I'm just saying how I feel. I feel bad for their parents, and felt like it was a pity because if it were me, that would be how I feel. Many abandoned child are truly abandoned, so if I were one of those abandoned child, I would've felt that way. But if it offend you in any way then I'm sorry.
About Leegang though, I don't think he acted estranged or not energetically, he's just a quiet child who doesn't really show much of what he thinks or feels, but he was actually loving and caring deep inside. It actually shows in his thoughts and actions, how much he cared about his family. It must've been hard for him too, with all those guilt he had to bear for so long, but he never showed it.
I actually feel bad for Gio's parents and Felix's father. They were estranged from their sons not because of their fault, but their sons gave little chance for them to get close and mend their relationship. Mostly it's only Felix who interacted with Gio's parents, and Felix didn't even seem like he wanted anything to do with his father.
