Yes! After rereading this, I came to appreciate the acting part as much (or maybe even more?) than the romance. I think it's fine that the romance took a step back because the acting part is interesting enough to carry this manga. I just wish there'll be more pages in one update because I really want to know how Kyoko will act as Momiji and how she'll grow from that character ( ;∀;)
I wish it updated faster too;; but most classic mangas update once a month (and have always been like that, but its def changing recently bc more mangas are being released online). i think the pace w the romance is okay, knowing that both of them have issues with love, them taking the first step is huge
Same! I'm always excited when Kyoko shows off her acting talent. It's very satisfying to see the other character's reactions. The other manga with emphasize on acting is Glass Mask, which is a classic (very old, like 90s?) but sadly discontinued. But, if you like this kind of theme, I really recommend it.
I'm happy to fouund your comment :)) i don't know why some people want this manga to end? For me this manga is a legend. I've been reading this since I was in my first year of middle school and now I'm almost 25. I growing up with this manga and I really like how the story focused on how kyoko achieved her dream slowly and with all the obstacles, the drama, I mean .. Damn, one by one the mangaka revealed the past story if every characters in detailed manner!!!
This story is gold!! I don't mind this story still continue because I've got this feeling that their journey still long and omg i don't know what to say anymore. I just hope the mangaka always in good health and have a long life. Being a part of this manga is really amazing.
I will feel sad if this manga end someday because from this manga I learnt a lot (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
i’m really glad you said this! i feel the exact same way, like you said it’s more of a coming of age story rather than pure romance. We see kyoko go through different relationships(familial, friends, love) and grow and learn from them. We also see her grow as an actress and i love how when in her roles she completely embodies them and you can tell each role she has she deeply cares about.
people need to realize shoujo isn’t a strictly romance genre but instead just a genre that is aimed towards young to teenage girls. so there can be multiple themes in shoujo stories that aren’t just romance
Now that I've rewatched the whole anime and reread the whole manga, I still can't get enough LOL as much as some people say their "romance" is taking too long, i honestly don't mind? this is more of a coming of age (for both of them), romance feels more like a subplot. I've done theatre before and this is i think the only(?) manga that deepdives into acting which makes it super enjoyable.
some people want it to end already, but even after rereading and supporting this for a decade, i honestly don't mind the author continuing this until they're satisfied.
I'm just a little sad that most comments are just talking about wanting this to end already and aren't talking about the latest chapters :((
