I'm sort of bewildered at how everyone takes the guy's antics so seriously, though. To me, leaving aside the time he sent that suitor to the border, he's mostly all bark and no bite, only barking to keep up appearances. But, the moment the mc intercedes in people's favor, he gives in. It even seems it's become so typical he actually "waits" for her to intercede, like he was letting her play "the good cop" and had even incorporated her into a deliberate "good cop, bad cop" routine to get other people to stop causing trouble, faster. I don't think he's any longer even a 10% of the tyrant he was in the original, all thanks to the mc. He just likes his image of "a king who's perfect and hard to please" too much to give it up by revealing that it's just an act, and it's clear he privately loves teasing her a bit too much because she's so lovable, acting all self-demanding of herself yet so indulgent of others... (so much so, that I almost want to marry her myself, lmao). If I was a guy, I might also like to tease her in exactly the same way, just to help her realize she's too good to others (the king, included) while too demanding on herself.

Cant deny he's suppose to be irritable coz he's literally a tyrant BUT the fl just giving in to his silly demands & falling for him despite the treatment is just (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I was expecting her to be the strong, smart, independent woman who'd influence the tyrant but well I guess that's her preference. Dropping ig. Have fun to those who is continuing tho!
