Yeah, but I'm saying the mangaka got it wrong. Lyle is an actual name but Ryle isn't. I think they got the R/L mixed up.
Well, "Ryle" is usually a last name, but who's to say an actual name can't be "Ryle." Doesn't matter anymore, tbh.
Japanese often pronounce L as R. In code geass, Lelouch was pronounced "Reroosh" the entire series. It used to drive me mad but I got used to it.
The Japanese have no differentiation between L and R. There is no L in their alphabet. Some accents/dialects/speaking habits pronounce Rs in words Likes Ls. There was no past distinction between the two, so now many people are still not used to using them separately.

But I think the character's name should be Lyle not Ryle.
