People in the comments are like “This traumatized me”, like boo..if rape traumatized you but murder in the first chapters didn’t and you STILL decided to read the manga, that’s all I need to know.

This is such a dumb ass take. “You weren’t traumatized by this, so you have no right to be traumatized by that.” We’re policing what ppl can be triggered by now? I can watch ppl get shot up in movies all day, but as soon as someone’s pet cat or dog is killed in a movie, I’m done. Why? Because I’m more sensitive to animal abuse than depictions of murder in media. Why? Probably because US media is violent as fuck, and I’ve been watching people get murdered on tv for decades. If someone is sensitive to rape, it’s most likely from personal experience, so to get on here and try to police their feelings on the issue is ridiculous and insensitive.

You missed my point, if you’re triggered by sexual assault, abuse, etc why did you decide to read it in the first place? Why put yourself in that position intentionally? You obviously see the reviews, the comments, the TAGS. Like? The author even puts warnings in the mange itself so ensure that the reader is aware of what’s going to go down in the chapter, but what do y’all do? Ignore the warnings then complain about being “Traumatized”.

That wasn’t your point, but okay. You specifically mentioned people not being traumatized over murder, but being triggered by rape, which is why I responded.

Anyway, a lot of people avoid reviews and comments to avoid spoilers, and rape is not in the tags (at least on this site) but yes, I agree that people who are triggered shouldn’t CONTINUE to read this and complain in the comments every week about being traumatized. However, I see no issue with new readers voicing their issues since they probably weren’t expecting this level of abuse/rape.

Honestly coming from a rape victim myself, if you don’t like it then don’t read it. I don’t like it personally but I get what you mean. I think they should add a rape tag but they probably won’t.
