Well, can't completely blame him for everything, she had the bad in her and he just fed it and never helped her change or even realized she had a problem. So it's like he encouraged her nature. Cuz... he technically tried to push Lart into a similar path, but Lart reacted differently. Plus... let's say he starts disciplining her now, I can bet she will just blame it all on Blondina again smh ╮(￣▽￣)╭

She gets the bad from him and he has indulged her ego since she was young. She is his mini-me and that is why she was his favourite child. Blondina was the least favourite due to her "commoner" blood. Its why even Lart pities that he was introduced to his sister really badly. The Emperor basically introduced her as their inferior secluded her to a separate palace away from the main family and told her to live as if she is invisible and not get in their way.

Adellai would never had pursued the throne if it not had been her father coaxing her as a child to do so. She naturally though since Lart was already expected to be the heir it would go to him until the Emperor suggested otherwise to her.
