I skipped to the last chapter. Basically, she ruined their wedding and cause many of his people arrested/killed. He then escaped and locked her up in one of his safe home(?). She is pregnant btw. He then say he would let her go if she were to keep the child but she said no she would rather die. Not very sure if he died or surrender but the police and her ex husband found her and saved her. Her ex husband told her to keep the child as the child did nothing wrong, even after knowing the bastard killed their child last time. Then they lived happily ever after apparently. Bruh

Exactly! the ex husband said something like they are not like that psycho so they shouldn't kill innocent lives. bruh, I understand where he is coming from but what about your wife's emotional trauma? knowing that she gave birth to a child with that psycho? BRUH? I think he is dead though, cause he did wrote her a note at the end of the chapter and it seems to imply that he is dead. though I could be wrong
I think the author took that kind of ending because of China's conservative ethics- it would be much better if they could've just lived happily ever after- the FL & her husband but we'll it is what it is I'm not going to continue reading tr Manhua anymore thank you so much for sharing the ending o((*^▽^*))o
Also I'm so happy that psychopath is dead- people like him deserve to rot in hell for all of eternity.
