she’s a teacher and her character wasn’t designed to be some physically strong fight character lmao. not to mention even if she could fight, how is she supposed beat up her own students? even if they aren’t her students, beating up people (who are typically teenagers) puts her job at risk. also she’s not a “damsel in distress”, she’s a teacher and a character who was never trained how to fight. i don’t understand how it’s expected of her, someone who wasn’t trained to fight, to beat people up who are trained to fight. she’s strong in her own sense (not giving up despite the risks). her character was designed to be this way… her being physically weak is the motive for the other character to continue to get physically strong. without her the other characters would be nothing and this story would be about a teacher who wants to expel a kid and goes around beating up all his minions. if she could beat them all up herself the other characters wouldn’t be needed. I felt the same way about her character at first, but then acknowledged that we need her “damsel in distress” character to actually have a story and development for all the characters. (hope this doesn’t come off harsh, just explaining why her character is needed for the story). ANYWAY yes, you should definitely continue, it’s a good story for sure. i didn’t have much hopes and thought it was gonna be another version of a story i had previously read (super outcast), but it definitely exceeded my expectations. the plot, character development, plot twists, friendship building, etc. is all really good.
