The problem is the stability of power in favor of Wolfgang. Wolfgang has no successor, thus if he were to die there would be no back up to the current government set in place. Thus all their work is for nothing.Therefore both Shin and the Chief propose two options:
Shin proposes a traditional solution, have a child that will be a direct heir and descendent to the throne. This requires matrimony between royalty. Shin wants Wolfgang to pursue foreign relationships to back Wolfgang’s ruling and win favor with the court.The only problem being that Wolfgang is not interested in women (as far as we know, he could be bisexual but that hasn’t been explored yet).
The Chief proposes to appoint herself as his godmother. As mentioned previously, the throne can be taken via lineage or by force. Wolfgang has no living family members. By appointing the Chief as his godmother, he has a relative that could continue the lineage of royalty (although by technical standards). This would allow for Wolfgang to pursue his desired relationship and stabilize both countries. Additionally, this would provide his ruling support from another forge in country winning favor in court. The only downside is that the dragons gift will no longer exist.

Wait- wait... I dont understand here, why their need a godmother to getting married? Is it some kind of tradition or what? Why she ask wolfgang to take her as her godmother so that he can help wolfgang married shin? Arghhh it's difficult to me to understand that part... Please, anyone can explain it to me? ╥﹏╥
