I agree but Lyra is also at fault to you know? She didn't want to confess because she friend that it would ruin their relationship and he the same with a little wanting to be there for her and his fear that they will not last. RELATIONSHIPS ARE WORK PEOPLE!! You have to be willing to put your all into being with that person through think and thin in hard times and happy times! If you can make it work and communicate PROPERLY then the relationship will last if not it will sink to the depths of the ocean like the Titanic never to resurface.

AND this is a trope that everyone uses to try to get people to pick sides and ships!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ Really these tropes are horrible because sometimes Friends A & B never get together or they do learn about the others feeling but its too late because they moved on and found a new love that did not make them wait say YEARS!!
