Because Geon Yeong should have been more patient. He's the only who knows the truth about what's happening and he still left Wonwoo in the dark. I appreciate that he came to Wonwoo to explain but he was taunting him unknowingly by being like "aren't you curious? ask more" when he should have just cleared things up from the get go.

And moreover, Wonwoo's words weren't insulting, he was more understanding and was trying to rationalize the situation as to keep his sanity despite being left out in the dark. The only thing that could be pointed out was his attitude but like I said Geon Yeong should have been more patient but instead he dropped the bomb by saying "come to my house".

I mean wonwoo was ignoring his calls too, not giving him a chance to explain, and he hurt geon yeong feelings when he said that “I don’t care who you sleep With and it has nothing to do with me“ so geon yeong was being emotional and just thought whatever. so yeah he was being stubborn, and beside am just saying both of them are Equally at fault right now cause their letting their jealousy get the best of them. I also think everyone is being over dramatic and their excessive hate towards Geon yeon is unnecessary.

I agree with you, and I am not fighting with you, really. But the excessive hate comes from matching Wonwoo's attitude and going south instead of taking the high road when he is in the comfortable position to do so, albeit the hate is too much. I don't know if you are aware but Wonwoo's stubborn attitude in this is a manifestation of his defense mechanism because he felt like he's treated himself poorly and in this situation, the odds are all against him. He's caught himself in an affair with people in power, and this is evident when he started overthinking the matter and let it get in the way of his job. Not only would he been branded uncalled for names but the man whom he's sleeping with is implying that he's just his fuckbuddy (which is technically true even at this point). Granted, it was Wonwoo's fault for unknowingly prompting him to say those words but then again, Geon Yeong should have tried a little harder instead of being like Wonwoo.

Besides, the blown up hate for Geon Yeong is a build up of what people really felt for him since chapter 1. I'm not trying to make sense of it, since I don't really hate him lol but I guess, I get where people are coming from. Thank you for answering respectfully.
