The rating

What's wrong with a 8.9 rating? It's cute; kind of like your basic cottage girl gets together with a "princely man" in this case, Duke, where in the past she use to be a princess or whatever.

I think this is just suppose to be a easygoing manhwa that's wholesome, yet full of misunderstandings as they aren't getting to each other very well, but still with very kind intent behind everything. However some people might find it more bland as everything is kind of already set into stone, since the concept of having a fated partner is prominent here, and there's also the concept of love at first sight ╮(￣▽￣)╭

its not bad at all but the characters are a bit shallow. The FL's main character trait is "pretty" like its mentioned about a thousand times how beautiful she is and she is assaulted because of it so this turned some people off to it. The ML also falls for he at first sight and his homies all act like every woman is a gold digging hoe that is out to cheat on them. So that also was unpopular. There is also a random vampire thrown in part way through and everyone was like oh god its just a twilight knockoff!. These of course are all the cons to explain why its not a 10/10.

I honestly think its a perfectly fine series. Its nothing amazing and at times a bit cringey but its well written. The characters arent annoying and the art is good. There is some plot in the background about her mysterious past and deal with the vampire so its not all just plotless romance. Theo is the best thing about the series and he massively outshines the ml who to me has the personality of a cardboard cut out. Not bad, worth a read, but nothing amazing 8/10 is my rating.
